A huge Mazal Tov to Jared White, a founding member of the Lone Soldier Center, on his engagement to Tom Shaham! Before dedicating his all to help and counsel Israel's lone soldiers, Jared served as a lone soldier himself in the Paratroopers Brigade after making Aliyah from Florida. Jared is now the Jerusalem Branch Director of the Lone Soldier Center and has made a tremendous impact on the lives of thousands of lone soldiers. Jared's better half, Tom, is originally from Israel and works as an event planner in Jerusalem. We are so thrilled for both of them and wish them a lifetime of love, happiness and fulfillment!

Oded made Aliyah from Ethiopia and currently volunteers at the Lone Soldier Center assisting lone soldiers from Ethiopia, including a large number who are orphans. Avital is from Jerusalem and works as a social coordinator at an absorption center for Ethiopian-Israe
